This is not a speculation tracker—only materials that have been publicly released or deadlines established by enacted law are included.

National Archives UAP Records Collection
The National Archives established Record Group 615 (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Records Collection) per Sections 1841–1843 of the FY2024 NDAA. Records are released on a rolling basis.

Pending Legislation (Not Yet Enacted)
The UAP Disclosure Act was adopted by the House on July 22, 2026, as an amendment to H.R. 8800 (FY2027 NDAA). As of September 2026, it has not been enacted into law. If passed, it would establish:
- Permanent UAP Records Collection at NARA
- Independent UAP Records Review Board with subpoena authority
- Agency records review within 300 days of enactment
- Public disclosure of transmitted records within 30 days
- 25-year disclosure rule for all UAP records
- Disclosure obligations extending to government contractors
Status: Must survive Senate consideration, conference negotiations, and presidential signature to become law.
